I 1000% miss the way my life was exactly one year ago. Why does the band Lakes have to bring back all these feelings I love and miss.

Soooo..I totally forgot that I had a tumble account hahahaha. Anyways I’m gonna start posting here again on the regular since we are leaving for tour soon. First on the list…Jappaaannnn!!!
Ahhhh California!! It has been good to us so far. We are currently nearing the end of day 2 recording with Mark Trombino and I couldnt be happier with how the song has been sounding. We finished drums and bass yesterday and recorded all guitars today. Nick is in the vox booth right now singin like a mad man. I cant wait to hear the finished product. Last night after leaving the studio we went to The Viper Room to watch our friends band Oh No Not Stereo play their CD release show. The room was packed with drunk people and the guys sounded great. Immediately after the show HTL in true fashion started drinking…hahaha! Ohhhh man lemme tell you there were some ridiculous things happening all over the place (slow moshing, guys dancing on guys, etc etc.) By the time we left the place everyone was at least 5-7 drink deep. We then went back to the house we are staying at and about half the show was there partying so no one really got to sleep earlier than 3:30 (6:30 or time at home). It was a verrrry long night and very harsh morning for some of us hahaha! Omar passed out against the wall in the studio and slept all day. My friend Dave is now laying on the couch in exhaustion…good times! Anyways I am doing good. Been staying as busy as I can just walking around the yard…borrriinng hahaha! Hopefully theres no party tonight so everyone can relax. Wish us luck! :)
